Shovana enthralled the audience with her narration of the story of `Draupadi Chir Haran’ which is based on Hindu epic, Mahabharata, and ‘Yasodhara,’ wife of Lord Buddha.
Shovana Narayan "Narayan’s performance is beyond technical perfection, it reaches for truth, for beauty and is almost spiritual in nature," said Indian ambassador to Kathmandu, Shiv Shankar Mukherjee. He said that the Indian embassy, in cooperation with the Indian Council for Cultural Affairs, had organized the programme to promote cultural relations between Nepal and India.
