Golden crown for Lord Nataraja

Chidambaram, Mar 26:

A Madurai-based industrialist has donated a Rs seven lakh(0.7 million Rupees) worth gold crown for Nataraja Perumal, the presiding deity of the famous Chidambaram temple.

As the jewellery shop in Kumbakonam entrusted with the task of carving the 101-sovereign gold crown had completed the work, a function will be organised shortly to crown the deity.

The industrialist devotee has come out with such a grant as he got his wish fulfilled after worshipping at the Nataraja temple
